1 | Food Security and Poverty Elimination network (CIFPEN) | In 2005, with funds from the EC through Action Aid and CARE International, the Civil Society inclusion in Food Security and Poverty Elimination network (CIFPEN) was established based on a work group including Vietnamese NGOs with the lead taken by CISDOMA. CIFPEN members work in different fields such as agricultural development, rural, health care, education and conservation. Cooperation, support each other and sharing information are core factors in the CIFPEN operation. Besides active contribution in poverty reduction independently in the national work, CIFPEN developed many initial cooperation activities effectively among member organizations. |
2 | Inter-Church Co-Operation Organization (ICCO) | ICCO is the interchurch organization for development cooperation. ICCO works in 44 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Its operational work is done in seven Regional Offices covering eight regions worldwide .ICCO connects enterprising people in the Netherlands and in developing countries to each other. ICCO work closely with local civil society organizations, including development organizations, educational institutions and businesses. In this way ICCO help people in Latin America, Asia and Africa to build a decent life and to become self-reliant. |

The name “Oxfam” comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, founded in Britain in 1942.
