The people in Na Lam village will be allocated production land under the Decision No.1474/QD-UBND of Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee dated 5th June 2015.
Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund (RDPR) in collaboration with People's Committee of Quang Ninh district organized the workshop “ Solutions to enhance the participation of community in getting ready to implement REDD Plus in Quang Binh” on August 27th 2014 in the meeting hall of Quang Ninh DPC.
On July 2013, Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund (RDPR) coordinated with Ethnic Minorities Board of Quang Binh province o conduct the study on “ Situation and Demand on Use of Production Land of Ethnic Minorities in Quang Binh province”. The study is implemented in 9 mountainous villages of 7 communes in 4 districts of Quang Binh province, including Quang Ninh district , Le Thuy district , Bo Trach district, and Minh Hoa district.
Within the project “ Supporting for approaching and effectively use of forestland for Van Kieu ethinic pepople in Quang Ninh district”, Quang Ninh Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund( RDPR) in collaboration with Forest and Land Allocation Monitoring Board of Quang Ninh district, have implemented many activities to promote the process of land allocation for local people, especially for Van Kieu ethnic people in two mountainous communes as Truong Xuan commune and Truong Son commune. As results, there are some area allocated to local households in these communes.
On May 4th 2013, Quang Ninh Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund in collaboration with Truong Xuan CPC orgnized a workshop on Reporting result of forestland allocation and granting “ Red Book” to households in Khe Day village.
On April 27, 2012, the workshop “Comment about Long Dại River Research Report” was organized successfully by Quang Ninh Rural Development and Poverty Reduction (RDPR) at Quang Ninh District Political Training Center.
In order to collecting experience and expectation of community on the Land Law and deliver them to policy-makers, the Institute for Legislative Research of the National Assembly Standing Committee coordinated to Oxfam and some social and political organizations and NGOs to conduct the community consultation Programme on the Draft revised Land Law 2003. The activities are conducted in five provinces including Quang Binh, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, An Giang and Long An from November 2012.
After making a survey on traditional culture of Van Kieu ethnic minority at the begining of this year, Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund, Quang Ninh district (RDPR) granted to restore and develop local culture of the Van Kieu in the 02 mountainous communes of Truong Son and Truong Xuan.
In 2011 Rural Development and Poverty Reduction Fund(RDPR) in collaboration with Quang Ninh Agricultural Encourage Station implemented the sow breeding model in Khe Ngang , Khe Day, Lam Ninh Mountain Village of Truong Xuan Commune. After 11 months of implementation, the model has gained positive results. To assess, draw lessons from the model and recommend expanding the model in community, on April 12, 2012, Quang Ninh Agricultural Encourage Station, the consult of the implementation of the model, coordinates with Development Board of Truong Xuan held the workshop to assess and summary summative the model.
Recently, RDPR organized a workshop to evaluate its operation in 2010 and build the plans for 2011.
