A delegation of the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Oxfam visit project area of RDPR in Truong Son commune

On 21st August 2013, a delegation of the UK department for International Development (DFID) and Oxfam have a visit to RDPR’s projects on land and forestland which is funded by DFID and managed by Oxfam within the Vietnam Empowerment and Accountability Programme (VEAP).
In this trip, the delegation met with CPU leaders to learn and understand more about recent land and forest management as well as land allocation for local people, especially for Van Kieu ethnic people in Truong Son commune.

The delegation also directly met local people and key farmer group of Khe Cat village, of which population is mostly Van Kieu ethnic people to know more problems and difficulties about production land local people are facing.

Through the trip, the delegation is listenned aspirations of local authorities and people who expected that DFID and Oxfam will continue to have programme to help local people in coming time.
