Training “Value chain development, social responsibility and MIS by Open Source Software for Social Responsibility Business”

There were 30 trainees attending the courses, who are representatives of organization members of the network, some associations, social enterprises and civil society organization, microfinance organization (TYM, M7), and local people and authorities of Quang Binh and Nghe An province.
With the participatory methods, lessons were designed and implemented into specific learning exercises in accordance with local context and level capacity of trainees. The trainees were also participated in discussions to share experiences and activities that are being implemented in their organizations.
The trainees is sharing their experience and together doing exercises.
Through the courses, participants were raised their knowlege about the value chain, responsibility of social business in sustainable development, an the use of MIS for website building and microfinance management. This is very useful knowledge for trainees to apply in the specific program in their organization, such as RDPR’s project on shrimp value chain in Quang Binh Province or the pineapple production chain development of Vinh An Companies and Quynh Luu Pineapple Associations.
The training is also an opportunity for the network and organizations, enterprise to expand partnerships and connection to implement sustainable development programs oriented social responsibility to the community.
